Privacy

We hold what a relationship with a couture house requires and nothing more: your name and contact details, the addresses to which we deliver, your order history with the atelier, and any fit notes you choose to share with the concierge. If you write to the concierge, we keep the correspondence so that whoever answers next already knows your story.

Everything we hold serves the delivery and keeping of your garments: matching you to the right size, delivering to your door, arranging any alterations, and writing to you about your orders. We send news of new collections only if you have asked for it, and we stop the moment you ask us to.

Payment is processed by Razorpay, a payment provider regulated in India. Your card and banking details pass directly to Razorpay and never touch our servers; the house retains only the transaction reference needed to match a payment to an order and, where required, to make a refund.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any purpose. There are no advertising trackers following you through your account or the timeline of your order. The relationship between a client and the house is not inventory.

Only those who need it to serve you: the concierge who answers your letters, the atelier team preparing your piece, and the courier carrying it. Any fit notes are held confidentially against your name and are used only to help fit your garments, present and future.

You may ask at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, for a correction, or for your record to be deleted, subject only to what Indian law requires us to retain for completed transactions. Any request to stop receiving our letters is honoured immediately.

We keep your record for as long as the relationship lasts, and order records for the period Indian tax and consumer law requires. Everything travels encrypted in transit, and access within the house is limited to those named above. Questions on any of this reach a person, not a form, at privacy@urbanadda.in.
