Your first alteration is complimentary
Bodies change; couture should follow. Within six months of delivery, every piece is entitled to one full round of alterations at no charge: taking in, letting out, shortening or lengthening, in either direction of travel. Collection and redelivery by the house courier are included.
How it works
Write to the concierge
Tell us what has changed: a hem, a sleeve, a bodice that sits differently. A photograph helps, but is never required.
The courier collects
The house courier calls at a time you choose and carries the piece back to the atelier, insured for the journey as it was on delivery.
The atelier alters it
Our atelier hands adjust the piece, usually within seven to ten days of its return.
Hand-delivered again
Your piece comes back the way it first arrived: wrapped in muslin, signed for at your door.
What alterations cover
Within your complimentary first alteration, the atelier will adjust:
- Hem and overall length: gowns, lehengas, anarkalis
- Sleeve length and fit through the arm
- Bodice taken in or let out, up to two inches either way
- Blouse adjusted against a fresh set of measurements
Beyond alteration
Some requests are not alterations but transformations: a new neckline, a changed silhouette, fresh embellishment over existing work. The atelier takes these on gladly as commissions, and the concierge will quote time and cost for your piece before any thread is cut.
